Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

'Time Bomb'

Natter 64: Yes, we still need you

Did another 5 miles around the lake today. A little sore. Picked up membership stuff from the Y. I'm not an exercise person...except apparently when I am. We'll see if I keep this up. It's really a matter of just keeping it in the routine. It'll be harder when it gets darker earlier and the weather goes to shit, but we'll see.

Before all that, scrubbed the house down. Tried to get a pedicure, but the place is closed sunday. Oops.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Is it possible to sprain your boob?

Well, there is a reason I don't run.

I have no clue what I did to myself, but whenever I lean or reach for something, it hurts.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

JPL is closed tomorrow. It's kind of like a snow day, but in Hell.

Coming closer to the finish line on this book. I'm unsure if the thing will sell to an editor, but if it doesn't, I'm totally going the self-publishing route so I can get it to family and friends, at least.

Dear god it's freakin' hot.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yikes, Allyson. Closed for fire is scary!

But hey, more time to work on the book, yeah?

I'm closing in on the end of it. Unsure how to feel about having more time re: fire. On the one hand, it's more time. On the other hand, big fire and evacuations and worry about my coworkers in the area. I'm frantically emailing my scientists. I have one little postdoc foreign national whose badge is expiring on the 31st, and his paperwork was just approved before I left. I have no idea how to get him on lab to get his new badge and security clearance. Poor little boo.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Someone please shoot me.

Movers forgot a bunch of stuff. I'll have to come back here (my old place) tomorrow and maybe get a cab so I can take it to storage.

My brain is totally fried. I've felt on the verge of crying for the last seven hours or so. (I think if I did cry I'd feel better, but so far I haven't been able to.)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

How the hell did they forget stuff? Bastards.
