Congratulations to the class of 1999. You all proved more or less adequate.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I may have to watch the Obama vid from Vividcon.

I just poked myself in the eye. Hard. Ouch.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Read about her.

I just poked myself in the eye. Hard. Ouch.

I think you are doing it wrong.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hey sarameg--I never seem to be one here when you are, but I wanted to say how much I am LOVING the new extrovert you.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Dana, not a good idea.

Scrappy, it's so weird. Love it too, but...holy crap, it's weird!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm watching "Rose Red" on the Sci-Fi Channel, which is not at all scary, and yet since I'm alone in the house tonight and this weekend, I'm wondering if I'm going to accidentally freak myself out.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

sarameg, I thought of you and your dad because there is a big giant fire up near JPL. The views from the Wilson Towercam are amazing: [link]

My mom and my son just spoke on Skype. It didn't help him get to sleep, but he sang itsy bitsy spider for her.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's adorable.

Flea, I hope Casper feels better soon.

I hate rationing Imitrex. Due to both me and my doctor being tardy I ran out of my prophylactic meds, and I think I can tell the difference. I'd hoped to hold out ER wise until Saturday at the earliest, but I don't think I can manage. Pissed. I hope they give me enough to knock this bugger out.
