Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

You're welcome to crash at my place, brenda.

Electromagnetic candy! - Stark

Anyone want a cute bear-robot to pick them up and carry them around?

I'm too heavy. Ironic, considering that I'm a bear. But STILL.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I might take you up on that, Tom. My boss's boss is working out the go/no go decision so I should know the situation tomorrow. Wednesday night I'd definitely have a hotel, after that I'm still waiting to see.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm reading a report about the people who died in Louisiana in Katrina. Someone tell me this isn't a good idea.

death maps = often fascinating WHEN IT'S NOT YOUR HOME. Very seldom fun or calming reading.

Not a good idea. Necessary perhaps, but. As an antidote, go read up on Regina Benjamin and her clinic. And her being the Surgeon General nominee. About fell over when this doctor I'd been hearing about on npr, who I totally fell in love with for her dedication, got nominated.
