Poor brother and doggies!
I am trying to decide if I have the energy to get the zip car, go to staples, get some bookcases, unload them into my house, drive back the zip car, and then take the bus home.
Zip car is great, but it would be better if you could pick up and drop off the car in different places (there is only one place in Roch, I am sure it is different in other cities.)
It's breaking his heart to let them go, and when he told his youngest boy this morning, Dylan cried the whole way home.
ugh that's terrible. Is this the one with the disconnected number?

It has been decided that a Wii is on the Christmas gift plan for the kids. This will also make it easy for the grandparents who might be able to go with a game.

I think "Unemployed Skeletor" is my fave. Or else the Lando Calrissian with the Colt 45 (the beer) in a holster!

I keep bugging them about this, but so far nothing's come of it. (I am QUEEN of the nagging feedback emails. Web services lacking essential features FEAR ME AND MY MIGHTY KEYBOARD OF WRATH.)

And for librarian warlords, Book Cart Drill Team
The American Library Association (ALA) just finished its annual conference in Chicago. This is a video of the winners of the book cart drill team competition. These librarians from the Omaha Public Library chose a ‘Ride of the Valkyries’ theme.
Alas, I missed ALA this year. But as a faithfully married man, I shouldn’t be availing myself of its bacchanal pleasures anyway.
Melissa Rice: Cancer Fraud Woman Found Dead
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho — A 24-year-old woman who allegedly ran a cancer donation scam that netted her thousands of dollars and gifts from celebrities has been found dead of an apparent suicide.
Officials say Melissa Ann Rice, of Ammon, Idaho, apparently committed suicide days after a charge of grand theft by fraud was filed against her. Her body was found Wednesday in her car.
Bonneville County Sgt. Doug Metcalf says Rice fooled national cancer foundations into donating thousands of dollars and gifts to her by pretending to be a 15-year-old boy with brain cancer named Jonathan Jay White.
Deputies continue to investigate the case to return donations that included a skateboard autographed by Tony Hawk and a guitar autographed by Kenny Chesney.

For airport runs alone, this would be awesome!

I think the society he was trying to contact was for New Jersey/Pennsylvania (local to here). ETA: I'll let him know about that group in case something more local doesn't work out.

He's been putting off making this decision for the year since he moved out, and now that the divorce is final (as of yesterday), she made it a point in the final paperwork that he has only two weeks from yesterday to get rid of the dogs. He can't afford to get his own place so he'll be living here for a few years at least, so he'll have to find them new homes either way. I think he's hoping to find a farmer in the area that would have the room for the dogs to run around and stay together (they're from the same litter).
