Am rather stressed out by my upcoming move, but I have most all my ducks in a row. (I have movers for Sunday.)
Wow - I've been at my current place for about eight years.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Tommyrot, are you bug-free now? Before a move is, of course, the best time to throw stuff out--although I never seem to make the time to fully do that myself.
Joint facebook accounts are freaky.
Truffle fries are fantastic, and I now crave some RIGHT NOW.
I am full of gronk and a sinus headache, but I managed to get all of the AquaNet washed out of my hair after yesterday's Deathrocker flashback photo shoot.

Yes, I start out very organized, with packing lists for each box, etc. By the end, I'm lucky that I'm not packing the food in the refrigerator because I just want to be done.

Not really. I'm going to throw some more stuff away, and most of the rest will have to go into storage until I can heat-treat it and bring it to the new place.
Ugh. I'm sorry it's been such a rough month, msbelle. I'm holding you and mac in my thoughts.

This sucks.
Appendix Ruptures a Month After Removal
Poor guy. Not only did his appendix rupture after it had been "removed" but he was fired from his job because they didn't believe his story!
Hell - Facebook is freaky.
Also - I had no idea these creatures from Angel (not the one with the bad haircut) were based on true insects.
I met one this morning, a smaller version of, in beige, almost invisible.
Sadly, my dad didn't manage to kill it - it got away too quickly. I'm saying sadly because while I'm opposed to animal killing (I'm in favor of sweeping them out of the door step), it strikes me like a sort of a centipede. And while its color suggests "not poisonous", it's better not to take your chances with centipedes.
So, it's probably somewhere in my room. Joy. I hope my "live and let live" vibes will reach it.
