Tommyrot, are you bug-free now? Before a move is, of course, the best time to throw stuff out
Not really. I'm going to throw some more stuff away, and most of the rest will have to go into storage until I can heat-treat it and bring it to the new place.
Ugh. I'm sorry it's been such a rough month, msbelle. I'm holding you and mac in my thoughts.

This sucks.
Appendix Ruptures a Month After Removal
Poor guy. Not only did his appendix rupture after it had been "removed" but he was fired from his job because they didn't believe his story!
Hell - Facebook is freaky.
Also - I had no idea these creatures from Angel (not the one with the bad haircut) were based on true insects.
I met one this morning, a smaller version of, in beige, almost invisible.
Sadly, my dad didn't manage to kill it - it got away too quickly. I'm saying sadly because while I'm opposed to animal killing (I'm in favor of sweeping them out of the door step), it strikes me like a sort of a centipede. And while its color suggests "not poisonous", it's better not to take your chances with centipedes.
So, it's probably somewhere in my room. Joy. I hope my "live and let live" vibes will reach it.
I saw one of these while hiking in Arkansas.

I took a couple of pictures, but they aren't that great.
RNC: Republicans will be denied healthcare
Apparently the death panels myth wasn't enough for the Republican National Committee. They're apparently trying to start a whole new one -- now, it won't just be old people who will be refused care under Democratic healthcare plans, but all Republicans.
The RNC sent out a fundraising mailer recently. Couched as a survey, it contained one question that reads, "It has been suggested that the government could use voter registration to determine a person's political affiliation, prompting fears that GOP voters might be discriminated against for medical treatment in a Democrat-imposed health care rationing system. Does this possibly concern you?"
This would be laughable if it weren't so shameless, so irresponsible and so dirty.
"It has been suggested that the government could use voter registration to determine a person's political affiliation, prompting fears that GOP voters might be discriminated against for medical treatment in a Democrat-imposed health care rationing system. Does this possibly concern you?"
That's awesome. I like the 'It has been suggested' phrasing because anyone can suggest something. I need to put out a survey.
"It has been suggested that MiracleMan will unleash a cyborg zombie army unless he is given one million dollars in small unmarked bills. Does this possibly concern you?"
Then, when everybody heads to Michigan with torches and pitchforks, I can unleash my own cyborg zombie army.
This would be laughable if it weren't so shameless, so irresponsible and so dirty.
Or, you know, a good idea.
...
What?! Like you guys didn't live through Bush II!
