I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Sad byproduct of my brother's now-finalized divorce is that he has to get rid of his two Malamutes. Terrific dogs but ones that have only been outdoor dogs and my now-ex-SIL is not a dog lover and wants them gone in the next two weeks.

Why can't he keep them?

Oh! And I think we're planning to see Harry Potter this weekend, too.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Why can't he keep them?

He's living at my mom's house in the 55+ community, and they don't allow for outdoor-kenneled dogs, especially ones as big as these two. It's breaking his heart to let them go, and when he told his youngest boy this morning, Dylan cried the whole way home.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, that is sad, Kathy.

It occurs to me that I should shower and pack.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Poor brother and doggies!

I am trying to decide if I have the energy to get the zip car, go to staples, get some bookcases, unload them into my house, drive back the zip car, and then take the bus home.

Zip car is great, but it would be better if you could pick up and drop off the car in different places (there is only one place in Roch, I am sure it is different in other cities.)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

SIL can't suck it up for a while until he finds a place? DO IT FOR YOUR CRYING KID, SIL.

Coding and Sleeping

It has been decided that a Wii is on the Christmas gift plan for the kids. This will also make it easy for the grandparents who might be able to go with a game.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think "Unemployed Skeletor" is my fave. Or else the Lando Calrissian with the Colt 45 (the beer) in a holster!

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Zip car is great, but it would be better if you could pick up and drop off the car in different places (there is only one place in Roch, I am sure it is different in other cities.)

I keep bugging them about this, but so far nothing's come of it. (I am QUEEN of the nagging feedback emails. Web services lacking essential features FEAR ME AND MY MIGHTY KEYBOARD OF WRATH.)
