I was thinking of going to Clifton's Cafeteria because nothing says you are 37 more than eating food cafeteria style off a tray in a super kitschy place.
That place sounds magical to me!

Tonight I'm going to see Renegade Cabaret on the High Line with Amyth! (If it doesn't rain). The rest of the weekend: Wii Sports Resort!
oooh barb! Happy anniversary! Your restaurant is better than mine!
Lisah, if we go, I'll report back.

Aw, but cafeterias and kitsch are also awesome. And cake! (Although my restaurant has both a Godiva cake and a guava cheesecake that look potentially deadly.)
It's a three day weekend for me, yay! I have a friend in town so I will hang out with her. There's a free outdoor concert featuring the Hidden Cameras and the Clicks, so I may attend that, weather permitting. Also, I am seeing a performance of Hedwig and the Angry Inch this evening.
I do have to mow my lawn...if it ever stops raining.
Happy Birthday Kat!
Happy Anniversary Barb!
My wife and I have been married for 17 years as well.

This weekend we are not spending money because we're skimming the bottom of the checking account until the next payday (Tuesday). So, gardening (I have a project in mind to tear down some crazy vines that are taking over), swimming pool, library, hanging out with the neighbors. Maybe rent Mary Poppins.
Humans = freaky.
The human body literally glows, emitting a visible light in extremely small quantities at levels that rise and fall with the day, scientists now reveal.
Past research has shown that the body emits visible light, 1,000 times less intense than the levels to which our naked eyes are sensitive. In fact, virtually all living creatures emit very weak light, which is thought to be a byproduct of biochemical reactions involving free radicals.
(This visible light differs from the infrared radiation — an invisible form of light — that comes from body heat.)
Two days from now I will be here. How much do I love that I can see my cabin from space???
