What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

See also, sandwiches that put fries IN the sandwich.

I have just heard about these! My friend posted a picture.

I have to say, a REAL Greek Gyro or souvlaki me pita (none of this nasty American processed meat "gyro" stuff) is really good with some greasy fries in the mix. And my vegetarian friend used to get gyros without meat, just the fries. After about 6 months they stopped looking at her like she was crazy every single time she asked.

Sometimes I miss Greece.

Heeee:

They don't even make sense: leather and shorts do not go together. Just because one is a material and the other an article of clothing does not mean that they should unite.

And those shoes ARE terrible.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

French fry poboys are yum.

Hm, my neighborhood Greek restaurant makes really good fries.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

And to Hec, there's a book you may want to check out called Free.

Oooh, it's "The Long Tail" guy.

"Chip butties" are made with frites. On buttered bread. Dinah was aghast. But they were teenage Scottish popstars - WTF would they know about cooking?

“Not dead yet!”

I'm making another bastardization for dinner-- spaghetti pie.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can't wait to go home and continue the Greek Dip Fest I began over the weekend. I have taromasalata, tzatziki, and a kind of spicy cheese dip whose name I can never remember. Edit: Kopanisti, I think.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm not sure what I'll be doing for dinner. Biking up to the hippie co-op for their salad bar, artesian bread, and cider sounds good.
