So when I call Cablevision to get my rates lowered (and cancel the phone service I've never used, but they keep folding it into my rate), I also need to yell at someone for trashing my back and side yards when they came to upgrade the building's connection. There were cable ties and little bits of exposed wire literally blanketing the patio. Fortunately my neighbor and I were able to get the worst of it swept up before our kids came downstairs and started playing in it. So my goal on Monday is to get a Cablevision technician fired.

I watched Good Luck Chuck and larfed my ass off. Talking with a friend about how I was surprised, since I thought I hated Dane Cook due to Mr. Brooks and a general consensus of hate in other areas ("That's not his character you're hating, that's just him"). Was urged to check his stand-up out. Freaking hysterical. Love his physicality and the way he slowly relishes telling a story. Why the extreme hate I encountered several years ago?

brenda, they are good, but not what I had anticipated. Simultaneously undercooked and puffy (then fallen). I made too many changes and it didn't work out as planned.
