They don't keep time as well.

Then I can REALLY start using Gay Standard Time - i.e. late for everything, always.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Will get pet cat instead.

They don't keep time as well.

But if you get a snuggler, you can save on the heating bill.

On the other hand, a lot less emotional investment in a watch.

Yah!

On the other hand, a lot less emotional investment in a watch.

I'm fine with that. :)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That organ-buying business is really disturbing. Sometime in the past year I heard about a program encouraging people to donate kidneys or bone marrow or whatever you can reasonably do, I guess, to strangers just because it's such a selflessly good thing to do and now I'm wondering if all that was on the up and up.

Also, if more people donate legitimately, the black market will dry up.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Soooo in my Qdoba saga, I get a generic thank you for your comments email (generic, but different from the acknowledgement of receipt email - no adress of the no-veggie veggie burrito) today, but NO coupons. grr. THEN the mailroom staff comes by with a stack of buy 1 get 1 free coupons from the exact location I ate at yesterday.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

No posts in over an hour - where is everybody?

I really did almost adopt a cat yesterday.

An email was forwarded around my workplace about a local woman who was moving to Europe on the 8th, and needed to deal with her cat.

The horrifying part was: "Adopted by the 3rd, or euthanized." And I'm not REALLY ready for a cat - I need to cat-proof my apartment. But I'm going to get one; I decided months ago. Once I'm back from Atlanta, zip! Adopting an adult shelter-rescue.

But "Persephone" needed a home right away, so I made arrangements: an acquaintance would "foster" her until I got back on the 9th, then she'd (the kitty) would come live with me permanently.

I came to work this morning to email from the acquaintance: "She's been adopted already! I'm sorry!"

So am I, but only a little - she won't die now, and that's a big PLUS.

And I can get my own kitty now, who will be CUTER and MORE EVIL.
