She's terse. I can be terse. Once in flight school, I was laconic.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Done. Finally read the entire notalwaysright site. Thank god that's over with.

That works too.

I don't know how I feel about Fancy Wienies in black bean chile. May be an abomination.

Oh god, I'm craving chile and cheese with red rice now. I've got the red rice and cheese but not the chile ...And I have no doting guides to bring me their mothers' cooking. Mmm, ema dahtsi. I guess I made an impression?

I was able to order a pizza online from Papa John's once, but now whenever I try to log in it tells me there's already a customer with that phone number and refuses to let me go further. It's cost them a fair amount of my business since I tend to think of ordering after receiving online-only coupons, and refuse to pay full price just because their system is screwed up.

If you live on an island, you probably should assume you'll do everything on that island. If you live on Whidbey, don't ever assume you'll come to Seattle for anything other than an Event. I used to live in Mukilteo - the other end of the Whidbey Island ferry run (Mukilteo/Clinton), and the backups to get on that ferry can be 2 or 3 ferry-cycles long (4 hours).

Bainbridge is a little closer, but still - island living is island *living*. The very rich can make it a causal thing - live on an island, come to the city to do things like work or shop or play - but I don't know "average folk" who do so.

Also: the ferries stop at about 1am. In my social circle, that's criminally early. YMMV of course; not everyone is a blood-sucking child of the night.

(Speaking of which: rumor has ANOTHER Lestat film...with ROBERT DOWNEY JR as LESTAT. My head jumped off my neck and flew around my cubicle at work when I heard that.)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Theo, I'm assuming you'll see this on the morning shrift. You did leave your purple sweater in our hotel room. elishavah (eli) volunteered to take it, because she lives in Boston and figured you two could work out a way to meet up. LJ user name "elishavah".

Who's the Matthew Gray Gubler fan again? Just came across this picture which seems to imply he's been working on his upper body while his knee is busted up. Dr. Spencer Reid can't be seen having arms like that. Fetching bruise.

Heh. I have a morning me!

Now that I've edited, packed, and eaten, I probably should go to bed. SF tomorrow!

Screw being true to a characterization, I would like to see those arms more. Yes.
