I'm 17. Looking at linoleum makes me want to have sex.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Dr. Spencer Reid can't be seen having arms like that.

Screw being true to a characterization, I would like to see those arms more. Yes.

Heh. I have a morning me!

The Magic 8 Ball Years of dis-coffeed grumblings indicate no.

Okay, so I'm a borderline sociopath in the morning and have expressed the fear that I might actually kill someone inadvertently while I'm shambling towards consciousness. And Dana knows where I live, so I probably shouldn't make jokes at her expense when I know she's already gone to sleep. But sometimes I just can't help myself.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Screw being true to a characterization, I would like to see those arms more.

He had one or two episodes last season where his hair was working just right for him and I could really see the former male model shining through. Then they dorked him up again. It's a good think his dork germaphobe genius personality is so adorable.

Speaking of hair, Christian Kane totally has tresses this season. I think they're giving him loose curls. He's outshining the ladies.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

(Speaking of which: rumor has ANOTHER Lestat film...with ROBERT DOWNEY JR as LESTAT. My head jumped off my neck and flew around my cubicle at work when I heard that.)

IIRC, I clutched my head and muttered "Oh god, whyyy?"

My brain is unhelpfully just quoting Angel at me now - "She, she had - I mean - her hair was... You know? - -You kind of remind me of her. Because, because – you know – the hair. I mean – the hair."

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

So this weekend, they're predicting a high of 80°, with nighttime lows of 65°. Way out for next Monday, they're predicting a high of 77°!

Not looking at today's weather.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Performance reviews, ugh. Where's the morning me to do these things for me so I can relax with my coffee?

CK's hair has been a highlight of the season thus far. Such a change from the first few episodes last year.

Totally just threw coworker to sharks. Did not want to go to meeting.

“Not dead yet!”

Bainbridge is a little closer, but still - island living is island *living*.

Yeah, that's the thing. It's like I said, in theory, it sounds lovely to my slightly misanthropic soul, but probably not so much with the practical and for me, practical tends to outweigh misanthropic. I mean, half the draw of Seattle for me is the fact that I have FRIENDS, you know?

Also: the ferries stop at about 1am. In my social circle, that's criminally early. YMMV of course; not everyone is a blood-sucking child of the night.

::snerk::

For me, 1AM is up writing. Or a late night in the bar at a writing conference. Because, y'know, I'm a geek like that. Also, having munchkins makes 1AM nights out a thing of the long ago and far away. And again, for practicality's purposes, I like the freedom of being able to get where I want to be with relative ease.
