Gavin, ask yourself this question. What are you more afraid of, a giant murderous demon or me?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

It's so amazing that cardiac patients can do so well, with good treatment.

I'm a cardiac patient, but a different kind.

You receive bad treatment?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

And another link of photos. I think I'm in love.

What's up with all the random filler pictures of stuff a couple of miles away, though? (The park? Up by my sister's house. Like, two doors away from my sister's house. Which is at least 2 miles away from my parents, who are maybe a mile, half a mile from that house. St. Francis and the rest of the Seahurst shots? All the way around the Point and up Maplewild. I AM CONFUSED, REAL ESTATE DUDES!)

“Not dead yet!”

I AM CONFUSED, REAL ESTATE DUDES

Heh. They're clearly trying to sell on the (somewhat) nearby charm?

And distance is relative. The middle school Abby is going to is four miles away from my house-- but it's still part of the "neighborhood." Grocery store is three, but also on the edge of the development.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Soooo sleepy right now.

I started a cross-stitch piece on Friday, thinking I'd be getting finished with the first phase of work (the borders) by the end of the week. Well, last night, I was moving along on it so well that I stayed up until 3:00 am working on it. (Didn't finish it, but I should have it done by bedtime on Wednesday at the latest. Then, I can get started with filling in the middle. It's just a Christmas piece for myself, but I'd like to have it done by the end of September so I can get it and another piece I finished last year framed and hung before the holidays.)

At 3:00 am, I finally went to bed, only to discover that the vcr part of my bedroom tv is not working--I might have to see if I can plug in my old vcr into the tv and play boring documentaries to fall asleep to that way. Then, I tried to get asleep with the tv off, and laid there for over an hour before nodding off. Then, the cat came in and meowed at full volume at 5:00, waking me up briefly before I fell back to sleep until the alarm went off at 8:30.

I want to go to bed right now.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

The inside door handle on the driver's side of my car broke. I'll see when I can bring it to the dealer to be fixed. The car still runs, and I can get out of it by rolling down the window and opening the door from the outside, but that's really annoying.

Man, I'll say one thing for American health care, you guys get the good drugs. I went to see my doctor barely able to walk upright from a sore back, and she just told me to keep taking Tylenol.

ETA: I do hope you get relief soon, Juliebird.

oh, that happened to me once. Of course, it happened because I locked myself out of the car with the motor running after I'd had an accident, and the police slimjimmed it open and broke it, so I could only be but so upset. Still annoying, though.

brillig

It's amazing that what was a death sentence a generation earier is so different now.

I hold up my dear Hubby, who has single-handedly raised the survival rates for cardiac incidents in the whole county, if not the state. God bless you, Drs. Acey, Hwang, and Olsen.
