annoying man at work is being super annoying today with a heaping side of passive aggressive posing as jovial joking. He can't take my joy though, I just keep working around him and it's pretty obvious to all others involved that he is being a hinderance.

Hitchcock's "Rope" is also notable for the way it was shot/edited. It looks like the entire movie was done in one take.

There is one deliberate, blatant cut in the movie, when Jimmy Stewart has an "A-ha!" moment.

Two good cafeteria days in a row--after yesterday's Middle Eastern cuisine, just now I was filling up the take-out dish at the salad bar when my favorite cafeteria worker came by. He told those of us at the salad bar to "fill up," since the registers aren't working, including the scales, so they're charging $5 for each salad, regardless of how much was on the plate.

Extra chicken and bell peppers, please!
