Hey, don't worry about it. Nest full of vampires, you come get me, okay. Box full of puppies, that's more of a judgement call.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just realized -- they've got a few "Mexican" dishes. (Well, if you want to count red rice topped with salsa and avocado as Mexican.) You order those in Spanish. "Yo soy bonita." "Yo soy mucho." Though the enchiladas, nachos, guacamole, and taco salad do not get Spanish names.

t edit: Is "Yo soy mucho" even proper grammar? I don't know much Spanish, but I thought that "mucho" needed another word after it.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh, yay, Emmett! What a way to go out on top!

Catching up, so forgive the backtrack to the Red Dawn discussion.

StE played JV soccer in high school, whose colors were bright orange trimmed in cobalt blue. The Varsity team was Big Orange, and the JV warcry was...

..."TANGERINES!"

Sorry about the leak, sarameg, but the dry basement is a good, surely.

I could only get three of the vids to play, but THANK YOU organizers who made the sign-Allyson's-book trip around the world possible. Funny thing, as long as I know you, ita, this was the first time I've heard your voice. Made me smile. Aside from the whole Allyson thing.

So, this new translator equilibrium thing all the kids are playing with? How's that different from babblefish, now?

Our wings are not tired.

Hil, I went to that restaurant once, with my cousins who were visiting from Nebraska. They thought it was amusing and I thought it was ridiculous. I'll never go back, especially knowing they're involved in Landmark. Long ago, I had a boss and colleagues who were really involved in that crap. My not wanting to be involved nearly got me fired (not kidding). I had to take it to HR and get placed under another manager.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

If I'll have cereals I'll have the enregy and the will to face statistics, right?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Is "Yo soy mucho" even proper grammar?

In my head, it sounds a lot like "he's so very" from Heathers. Possibly not what they were going for.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I had a really nasty night of insomnia, and my father called me at 7 this morning after I'd finally reached a fitful doze. No, I haven't spoken to him since he decided to come visit me. At least he hung up and will call back. But it's not like I can get back to sleep. And I am wretched tired.

ugh ita, sorry about the sleep.

food has made me feel more human.

Just got the call that the heat treatment box is in. YAY! I'll go get it afterwork. This menas treating shoes, bags, purses, and dry clean only clothes. I'll also be able to treat previously used ziploc bags, so that should cut down on some spending. Oh and I can treat all of mac's back to school supplies then get them in plastic.

Compassionately intolerant

I saw that one this morning Kathy. Go, go Kitty! Except, that canister now needs to go into a locked cupboard, else those kitties become beach balls.

While I was married, I went away for an extended period, leaving my cats in my husband's care. I came home and neither of them had necks anymore. HUGE. Hubby said,"I only give them a quarter cup a day, like you said!" We go back into the kitchen and the 25lb bag is open, no the floor, with a cat shaped hole in the top. As I'm about to yell at him for obliviousness, a tail appears out of the hole. There she was, the orange one, head down, tunneling to China. Sigh.
