You like ships. You don't seem to be looking at the destinations. What you care about is the ships, and mine's the nicest.

Georgia is so funny to me as a Maine-reared kid. They won't let the kids outside to play for 20 minutes at recess if it's colder than 30 degrees. [link]

Now tagless for your comfort.

msbelle, I hope you can find a much better work environment.

I'm taking Liv into the doctor this morning. I called and they wanted to see her right away. Yay. At least I've had coffee.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

May your waiting room wait be short, Cash.

I should vacuum, but it's 6:23 and K's still in bed. That seems kinda rude, huh?

Librarian Warlord

flea, this morning I got pinged to submit a resume to be the library director at the relevant library at your current U. I can't apply because there's no real work for my DH in Athens, but it was more tempting because you'd be there than some other places that ping me about work.

I'm getting the pig!

Well, hell. I took a shower this morning and now I have to get some energy back before even attempting to dry my hair. Had to tell work I'd be home again today. I'm taking care of my duties but I'm sure they're getting tired of hearing that I'm not coming in. I'm tired of being sick, though, so there's that.

Anyone and everyone (on the board, that is) that wants to come to Colorado and hang out for a bit is more than welcome! Or you could be like Suzi and move here - but you might want to visit first to make sure you're not allergic to the entire state.

Good luck at the doctor, Cash!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I'm putting off something noisy because the SO's still asleep. I have no idea why I was up early this morning. Well, actually, it was probably the cup of tea I had late last night. But I woke up having to use the bathroom and then I was cold so I rekindled the fire and now I'm wide awake. Came into the office and started piddling around. That's the downside of working at home. Sometimes you just wander in and start doing work. No boundaries or time limits. Might as well take the dog out and make breakfast at this point.

Although I dunno if I'm hungry. My parents always put a restaurant gift certificate in our Christmas stocking (even though said stocking doesn't physically exist these days). It has been a rough week coming off break so we decided to go ahead and blow it yesterday. It was our local steakhouse. The SO had prime rib and I had liver and onions with crab stuffed mushrooms as appetizer. It was seriously yum, but a lot of food.

Right now I'm feeling like I am. Been stuffy ever since we got back from vacation. NO FUN. Today it is a combo of snot and headache (so far not back into migraine territory, but still ouchie).

I'm working from home today too, Nicole. I guess I should contact someone in the office and let them know.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Poor Nicole.

Poor Cash and Liv too.

And Suzi.
