I like pancakes 'cause they're stackable. Ooo, and waffles 'cause you can put things in the little holes if you wanted to.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Cash, I think as long as she's not actively choking on it, the usual advice is just to wait until it comes out the other end.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

DJ, thanks. It's been a busy day. He's filling out the paperwork to see if they'll look at the back payments from his gross, not his net (or vice versa -- whatever's lowest.)

It's a clusterfuck, because he can afford the payments and has been making them -- it's this whole PITA from when his ex called and said "Moving! Leaving house? If you want it, you'll need to pay for it; it's paid up and I'll pay half for the next two months."

Course, it was two months BEHIND and she never paid, so...hopefully, this application will work it out.

Jesse, the Whole Foods down here has Seckel pears and blood oranges this time of year.

Sadly, no dragon fruit.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I swallowed a penny when I was a kid. I was very excited for it to come out. My mother was less so. :)

Because books.

Cash, what Jessica said. The doctor will tell you the same if she's not choking.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Yeah. She sort of choked on it going down. She was right next to me! I had no idea she had found one and put it in her mouth. Her eyes were watering and she said, "I swallowed a penny!"

I'm not too panicked but she was complaining her tummy hurt. I suspect she's just scared after I told her we might have to visit the doctor tomorrow.

Why couldn't she have eaten the damned five spot I had in my purse?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That is scary. And I hope you don't have to go looking to make sure it all comes out OK. So to speak.

My plan is to call the ped tomorrow to double check. Feed her fiber and keep a close watch for it. If it doesn't pass, we'll go in for an x-ray to make sure it's not lodged anywhere. If it were a larger coin, I'd be more worried.

One of my worst memories is a kid in my first grade class swallowed his milk money (a quarter). He ended up having surgery to remove it and always pulled his shirt up to show people his scar.

My brother ate 30 cents. In nickels. It all came out. My mother is blessed with that memory.

msbelle, I don't know if you can ask for alternate assignments or if that would even help, or have him work on those triggery assgmts with his therapist. Wishing you luck.

Sounding a little like Kathleen Turner, but head is clearing well. Swim was a blast, though late. I didn't get home until 9.

Tried on my prom dress again. Still blows me away. Empire waist. So 1990s!
