Shit's all sorts of different now.

For the most part, we don't let Emeline win. A lot of that has to do with her refusal to actually learn the rules of the game and just wanting to play it until she wins.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I think I left all my energy and motivation back there in the Aughts.

And mine are keeping your's company.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Over Christmas, I was playing Monopoly with my 9-year old niece and my 13-year old niece, and the 9 year old was trying to throw the game.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I let kids win up to about 8 or 9. After that, I might go a little easier on them, depending on how well they knew the game and how invested they were.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

My nephew cheats, which aggravates Tom to no end. Therefore, he does not let him win.

With all this talk of RNs in demand, I wonder how my mom got laid off! She's an administrator though.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would let little kids cheat to win, but that's about it.

I had blueberry pancakes instead of scallion pancakes for lunch. Not quite the same.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I bought my first groupon today - 50% off an order at Fresh Direct. It is taking them for ever to process it though.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You'll have it tomorrow -- it always takes a while.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

My mom was an occupational nurse at a chemical plant, and she was supposed to be laid off (the company outsourced all of their nurses across the country to an agency), but since she was so close to 59 1/2 and 25 years with the company, they let her stay until she got to that anniversary date and she retired instead (with a really sweet package, too). She worked for a nursing temp agency for a few years before she moved east and has let her license lapse--she has no desire to go back into nursing at the age of 70.
