We (the group of stoners I hung out with in high school) used to call the circus peanuts "putrid peanuts". Even stoned they were to be avoided at all costs.

My boss spilled coffee on her desk two days ago, and she can't stop talking about how mad she is at her self and how could she do that?!?! I think she seriously needs to calm down!

With the talk of "early morning calls", I just realized I texted K-Bug when it was 6:30 her time. Ooops. Since she hasn't called back fussing at me, I guess it didn't wake her up.
Grr. Dentist appt rescheduled. For 3 weeks from now. Just want this OVER.

Yep. Students! I can't figure them out, but my guess is that she'd gone back to bed. Also, I think many of us are just annoyed by phone calls - we're so used to email, IM, etc., to get our questions answered.
Speaking of students, my sister, who teaches at Santa Monica College had 51 people trying to force into one of her classes yesterday (already full, with 45 registered students).
I'm not surprised. Most of the CCs dramatically pared down Winter Quarter offerings and I know any of the big prereq classes (she teaches Calc or Calc II right>?) have been HAMMERED. My former students who are at a CC are pretty depressed, especially the one who had been accepted to Berkeley who's parents wouldn't let her go because it was too far. @@.
