Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I felt that each of those had a certain appropriateness for various people here.

ita's new guy should send the meeting one to himself. also Brooklyn and American Psycho are classic, having just tread AP and being a former Brooklynite before the mad-crazy Bklyn stuff.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And the one you called "Just get up!" is meant for us.

My sister didn't take her laptop with her to New Orleans because our mother walked in on her and a friend each with a laptop in lap and questioned the behaviour of the crazy kids. Minute we got to someone's house who was also a "crazy kid" sav was all over her laptop catching up on AV Club and watching Daily Show clips despite the six other people in the room.

At least when I was catching up on my phone I was trying to be all smooth and shit. But I was doing it a lot. And if I had had a working personal laptop I probably would have brought it with.

ita's new guy should send the meeting one to himself

He is the justification machine, let me tell you.

hip deep in pie

Ooh, I wonder if the Cadbury mini-eggs are around then?

They're out here and they're being marketed as now being available all year round.

I don't know if I am still kind of sick, but I come home form work, ate supper and just crashed for 90 minutes. I should probably go back to bed, because if I let myself wake up fully, I may never get back to sleep.

Was drawn in by the headline, but the story is awesome:

Winnipegger rescued by shiny-shoed stranger

One of mac's thoughts about getting himself to bed, is that it is best done without me reading to him AND with me going to bed at the same time. Partly it makes sense: quieter house, less feeling like he is missing out on stuff. But I am noo punk, part of it is also that I may not notice if he sneaks back into the livingroom for his ds, or I may fall asleep and he stays up late looking at pokemon books.

Busted, mac!

Okay, should I be listing Dwayne Johnson's photos under The Rock or vice versa? Seems I've been doing both.

He seems to have abandoned The Rock altogether. I'll be casting The Rock in The Tooth Fairy would have been problematic at best.
