Yay, Allyson! I love that we managed to get that done! I didn't think it was going to happen for a while in there. Hee.
I can't believe we managed to keep it from her for so long! That was a truly Herculean effort not to blog about it, not discuss it in Natter, not to build the book its own Facebook page. Amazing.
So very glad it finally got to you, Allyson.
CJ is officially a middle schooler. We dropped him off today and the 8th graders were there, meeting the cars and buses, welcoming the new kids. Music was playing and there was a party type atmosphere. Who knows how long that will last, but at least it made the drop off nice and easy.
My hopes for him today - have fun, find all his classes, and make a couple of new friends.
I'm cranky and restless and don't know what the fuck my problem is. Which is the problem. Grrr.
I'm cranky and restless too, sara. Problem is, I know what the fuck my problem is and I can't do shit about it.
Feh.
I'm cranky and tired and want a nap!
Failing that, I want my head and brain turned inside out and placed inside a giant pot of coffee....
Glad to hear the book finally got to you, Allyson. I dimly remember signing it...a while ago. Quite a while ago.
Ah well, it all came out great in the end.
nyc tax increase of .5%, I hate you. All my reconciling software has to be updated.
I don't know... I mean, even if this wasn't the South, I'm not sure I'd be comfortable asking someone out at his place of work, when I'm going to be going there regularly afterwards regardless.
As an ex-waitress, Matt, I could kiss you for this!
So it's probably bad if a designer had to give me a quick turnaround on a project to go out next week, and it just got cancelled in this morning's meeting.
I should go down and get him a treat, right?
So how is everyone's week going so far? I hope better than for DJ's designer.
