Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's so beautiful, seeing you guys trying to give good homes to unwanted nail polishes.

I would have called in sick, except I'm working from home and have no work to do anyway. So it's kind of a wash.

Because books.

You could stay in your pajamas, though!

School's open today! It's a new year miracle! Even if it is still snowing. Sigh.

I called the place I'm going for a massage later, and they said it was OK to come in if I felt OK. I kind of fudged the timeline -- I started getting sick on Friday, but have gotten worse every day since.... But I really want a massage!!

I actually showered and got dressed. I mostly stayed in my pajamas yesterday.

information libertarian

Ooh, Casper and I could make good use of a small (like, 3-4 bottle) care package of nail polish rejects. We have blue, but no green or purple or silver.

Also, I am looking for a very very pale pink that is NOT sheer, and preferably is available in the supermarket or Target. I have toenail discoloration issues, but want them baby blush pink! Recs?

Well, it's worth it for a massage, for sure.

Sara, sorry you are still sick (LOVE those shoes and the ones shrift got). I too am on an austerity budget so...no shoes for me.

I am done throwing up it seems. This is good. It was just a really mild form of what everyone except Noah had at daycare (like all of the parents and 3 of the 5 kids).

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I was so happy to come in to a mostly clean desk. The only things left on my desk were things with issues, so now the task becomes for me to see how fast I can get others working on my issues when thwey are just back from days off and have work piled up of their own.

After a quick go through of what I can easily get moviong, I am going to update my 101 list and get it shaped up for what I hope will be regular updates this year.
