Deep Fried Sugar In Sugar Sauce
That's it! Free sugar is always nice, but wow, it was more than 100% sugar. It was one more sugary.

I really like that house, msbelle. It has great kitchen cabinets! In rochester, all the kitchens seem to be redone in 80's oak country kitchen except in the scary neighborhoods. Well except my boss's house-- she has a perfect pink 50's bathroom and a kitchen with original 50's appliances. Unfortunately, she hates them and is saving to have them gutted.
Sophia, your boss is going to make msbelle cry.

That house has a lot going for it. Very nice.

Re Cocktails: Sam Clemens (Mark Twain) didn't encounter the cocktail until his lecture tour in Europe in the early 20th century. He wrote very excitedly about this great new type of drink called a "Cock Tail". I wonder if he ever learned it had been invented in California?
