How did your brain even learn human speech? I'm just so curious.

Because books.

I definitely have some jeans I can send you, Kat.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Would sweet potato be good or weird in a beef stew?

Good

I changed the garage door opener light bulb and it still doesn't go on. I think I have run out of caring, though.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I guess I'm decompressing from the holidays. I spent way too much time at the hospital and nursing home, and I guess I've been a giant ball of stress and anxiety for weeks.

The best birthday present I could get today would be a goddamn fix for my lack of wifi connectivity on my new computer. Everything else I can work on myself.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Would sweet potato be good or weird in a beef stew?

Good.

I might have some jeans for you, Kat. I'll have to take a look.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Jesus. There were so many dirty dishes that I couldn't do them all in one fell swoop, because there wasn't enough room in the dish drainer, not even the way I do it (The Boy calls it Dish Tetris).

So, 3/4 of the dishes are done, clothes are folded and put away, sheets and towels are in the dryer.

Still to-do:
put away round 1 of dishes
wash rest of dishes
fold and put away sheets and towels
full frontal attack on the shower curtain
exchange money for groceries

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Then I will hope my leftover sweet potato isn't too gnarly to go into stew!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Speaking of things people might want, is there anyone here who likes/collects/has a use for old camera equipment? One of my chores today is to clean out the cabinet where I keep such things, and get rid of them. I'll try freecycle too, but I thought I'd ask here too. I can send a list a little later if anyone might want them for the cost of shipping.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Happy Birthday, shrift.

We have a small clawfoot tub and it takes three curtains to go around. I really need to wash them.

I was also planning on going to church but a nap is calling much louder.

KBD came over and hung things for me. I just wanted help, but quickly realized I should just stay out of his way. He was much more efficient than I would have been. I have more stuff to hang but need more hooks.

After that we went to the comic book store, ate gyros, then hit the pet store and outdoor store. I am such a sucker for sales but it's the only time I can halfway afford some brands I like, like Prana.

Hmm. Yep. Naptime.

Because books.

How old, Perkins? Like vintage, cool-to-display old? Or just older cameras and accessories?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Mostly just the second, though I think I have an old Brownie in there too.
