Riley: Oh, yeah. Sorry 'bout last time. Heard I missed out on some fun. Xander: Oh yeah, fun was had. Also frolic, merriment and near-death hijinks.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Mostly just the second, though I think I have an old Brownie in there too.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I would totally come by if I were in town Kat, but instead can you eat a piece of red velvet cake for me?

We are getting ready to roll here. The kids don't want to go home. Too bad, poor noodles.

I did the last of my holiday returns today. I also bought some ornaments at 75% off to give as gifts next year (and maybe some for me.) Other than some shovelling, I've done nothing else. Then I ordered in chicken as a relatively healthy compromise over pizza.

I really don't want to go back to work tomorrow.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Football's so weird at this time of year. The Packers are playing the Cardinals in Arizona right now. Next week, playoffs start and the Packers will be playing...the Cardinals in Arizona.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I have vinyl shower curtain liners that have been washed many times with detergent and bleach using warm water and the gentle/permanent press cycle.

I also have some jeans somewhere that I at one time thought I would make a rug out of. Perhaps they should be transferred to another person's good intentions. I knew a guy who had a huge living room rug and hall runners that he had had woven with jeans strips and a red warp.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I've got soup in the crockpot (collard greens, celery, tomatoes, green pepper and onion in commercial chicken broth to which I will later add canned black peans, brown rice [during last hour and a half), and shrimp at the last ten minutes. I've done one load of laundery, and have a load of shirts I'm considering not putting in because I'm not sure I'll have the energy to hang them. This damn cold is holding on forever and seems to be kick my ass in terms of energy.

I'm all the way unpacked from my Christmas trip! Suitcase is away and everything.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

My living room now looks a lot better, and it should work more effectively for the Friday night fangirl gatherings. I feel all acomplish-ee.
