Make Your Own Bailey's Irish Cream
If you love the rich, creamy taste of Bailey's Irish Cream, why not set aside some time this week to whip up a homemade batch in your kitchen? It's easy, and you only need a few common ingredients.
Of course, if you make it, it's not Bailey's! Some relatives found an Irish Cream with our Irish family name in a liquor store one time.
I am so logy. Ugh. I think it's going to be tomato soup and grilled cheese for dinner.
We usually use Emmett's rather than Bailey's, anyway. We like the taste better, for whatever reason.
So, at the vet, the gave me some anti-hairball stuff that is apparently pancake syrup + vaseline, according to the ingredients. (Not maple syrup, the fake stuff.) So every time I try to give it to my cat, I get it all over the place. Now he has it dried into the top of his head, and I feel sad for him! But he doesn't really want me to help him get it out. Poor cat.
Also, I really understand why people buy the "original" and not the fish flavor -- the original is fairly pleasant to get all over the place! Fish would be nasty. This is not about what the cat wants.
mac refuses to try the Ethiopian chicken dish I cooked. Looks like doing homework tonight should be fun.
The Irish cream we made at Christmas was very yummy and a popular item.
It hasn't stopped snowing since Thursday night.
I'm sorry, Amy. It is totally my fault since I hoped and prayed for the stuff prior to my visit. It hasn't stopped snowing at all since I arrived the 29th. It does sound like you are going to get a lot more today and tomorrow than we are up here though. Stay safe and warm.
Oh noes msbelle. I was hoping it would go over well. It`s so hard to tell with kids and food. In our kiddo food news (okay, young adults) we just fondued and it was a big success. We decided to have them over after their regular Saturday lessons (we teach them after our pay students at the store) so we could make up for the big NYE fail. They loved it. And they ate a lot but not everything so I had the right amount of food. And no major hot oil injuries so I`m going to call the whole thing a win. Now I have a big clean up but it can wait because I`m stuffed and bushed.
what a nuisance, msbelle.
I bought shoes today! Not Fluevogs, but still me happy. My sister introduced me to the news that Marshalls has great shoes. I did not know this! Two pairs of comfy shoes--Merrills and Born--for the price of one!
