I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

It is extremely lame that they don't acknowledge the central and mountain time zones on any of the specials. ALso lame? that there is only one NYDay parade now on tv. I remember at least watching 3! I had wanted to watch parades all mid-morning into afternoon.

We are having pumpkin muffins (since I made them last night, we decided on them instead of waffles). and I think I need some coffee.

Timelies all!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Man, I wish Aspergum still existed! I hate a sore throat.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What does Aspergum have over a lozenge?

They pulled my bag over for an explosives check. I'm glad they didn't confiscate the cheesecake.

Checking in online with just the carry-on was totally worth it.

Gothic Charm School is my flight reading. I feel very fake since I'm dressed in a white school sweater and jeans. But all the clothes in my luggage are black! And not just because it's a funeral! I can darkle too, sometimes.

Hell, I'm not even wearing black shoes. I never don't wear black shoes.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

They pulled my bag over for an explosives check.

They did that to me in Vegas too. I was glad I didn't have any.

I hope the trip isn't too terrible and drama filled, ita.

Aspirin! And nostalgia. But anyway, I don't have either thing here in the house, so it's all a moot point.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I went out for sushi last night and the hostess made a point to inform me unasked that Hot Young Waiter wasn't working. Busted! But I'll probably get seated in his section more often now.

I'd meant to go see Avatar after dinner, but one look at the packed parking lot sent me scurrying home. My New Year's Eve was spent doing laundry, putting up dishes, and much-needed de-cluttering of my living room and kitchen. Not exactly a blowout party, but I have clean countertops for the first time in months.

I totally meant to be here to wish a Central time zone New Year and then Charter pulled it's usual crap at 10:30 and fritzed my internet until just after midnight. All day Wednesday and the most important part of yesterday. Is to cry.

So, I wish you all a Happy New Year, regardless. It's still the first!

I make a darned good chocolate chip cookie usually, but I just made a batch that are as close to perfect as I think I ever have.
