Anya: It's lovely! I wish it was mine! Oh like you weren't all thinking the same thing. Giles: I'm fairly certain I wasn't.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Oh, the NYT article makes me sad. The thing about the cornerback wanting them to send the dredlocks back cracked me up though.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm not surprised that a lot of people send in hair that is unusable for wigs, though.

Because books.

Dick Clark was never supposed to get old, or have a stroke. Sad.

Me neither! I'd never think to send in my hair. I don't want to wear my hair! Why would anyone else?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was on the crew and he ignored all of us, but that's not unusual.

The ones that don't ignore you, they stand out in a good way, though, right?

It's such a little thing, to be nice. I encountered comedians in a different context--there's a bit where they're evaluating if I can be useful to them professionally, and then after that there's always the whole "do her?" question. But the ones that were asses I'll remember poorly forever, and the ones that were nice will be spoken of kindly till the end.

I've never wondered about Tiger's approach before.

Ya know, he probably has his caddy do the scoutwork. I hope he's polite about it.
