Jayne: Yeah, that was some pretty risky sittin' you did there. Wash: That's right, of course, 'cause they wouldn't arrest me if we got boarded, I'm just the pilot. I can always say I was flying the ship by accident.

'Serenity'

Natter 64: Yes, we still need you

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was on the crew and he ignored all of us, but that's not unusual.

The ones that don't ignore you, they stand out in a good way, though, right?

It's such a little thing, to be nice. I encountered comedians in a different context--there's a bit where they're evaluating if I can be useful to them professionally, and then after that there's always the whole "do her?" question. But the ones that were asses I'll remember poorly forever, and the ones that were nice will be spoken of kindly till the end.

I've never wondered about Tiger's approach before.

Ya know, he probably has his caddy do the scoutwork. I hope he's polite about it.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm having prosecco and waiting for the ball to drop.

The bao turned out ok. The crab fondue: FANTASTIC.

Both kids are still awake which is bananas.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The ones that don't ignore you, they stand out in a good way, though, right?

Usually. Most comedians didn't spend much time backstage. They'd be out the back door before the house lights were up. I had more interaction with dancers, musicians, and random speakers.
