Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Cate Blanchett can do whatever she wants. Period.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I think that J-Lo dress is gorgeous. Especially compared to some of the rest of them.

It was on someone's "best of the decade" list. I really don't like it, but compared to the others it's gorgeous.

Also, I don't see how Kate Hudson's compares to the others at all.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Concur. She is Beyond Reproach. Also in this class, Emma Thompson. Maybe Kate Winslet.

Any others?

Because books.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Swinton!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Judi Dench, Aretha

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Dame Edna.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Helen definitely. Judi probably.

I'm thinking of an old article (maybe back in the 90s?) about "untouchables." Not in the India caste system sense, but public figures whose reputations are so strong and secure that if you criticize them it actually makes you look bad.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Swinton's too controversial! That's what makes her Swinton. She'll give Clooney shit while she's accepting her Oscar. I think that makes her infinitely cooler, but not beyond reproach.

Because books.

Possibly Susan Sarandon, too.
