Look, you got a little stabbed the other day. That's bound to make anyone a mite ornery.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's magazine fed with a laser sight. My only thought was "where the hell was this when I was a kid"?

Emmett's got a full Nerf gun arsenal, and received the one with the 35 dart drum on it for xmas.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Orly Taitz Seems To Suggest Call To Arms Against Obama

Have fun storming the castle!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

If they're going to "bare arms and organise in militias", I suggest they wait until the Spring, when it's warmer out.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I really meant to go back to bed, if not to sleep, after posting here and emailing Colin, but he decided it was a signal he could call me. Which lasted until my alarm went off. Tired now.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I got shot with one of those marshmallow guns yesterday. Waste of marshmallows, if you ask me.

My favorite comment on the Orly Taitz thing (she said "bare arms" instead of "bear arms":

Michelle-envy.
Check out her guns.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Waste of marshmallows, if you ask me.

That is what I think everytime I see one. Waste of yummy yummy marshmallows.

brillig

That picture of Orly Taitz is very disturbing. I looked at it and thought, "Is that a wig? And why is she doing her eye makeup like the Olsen Twins do?"

edit: The comments say her family is a Jewish one from Eastern Europe. All I know of those traditions are from reading My Name is Asher Lev, and from what I remember it was traditional for the women to wear wigs. Am I remembering wrong?

Mmmm, marshmallows. I need to get some to have at work - I already have hot chocolate.

I now want to do a lifecycle and environmental cost analysis on Nerf guns vs. marshmallow guns. Reusable usually if not always trumps, assuming the item is used long enough.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

It's traditional for religious married women to wear wigs in some of those communities, but I don't think that she's religious.

Edit: in the picture, she's wearing a short-sleeved shirt. I don't know of anybody who would wear a wig for religious reasons who would also wear short sleeves. Plus, she grew up in Eastern Europe, and there were almost no observant communities there at that time.
