Christmas went well despite the mini-crisis of my sister locking the present room with the key inside.

My brother guessed what his present was before opening since he was watching the A Christmas Story present scene at the same time.

This sort of thing is why I prefer Sunset Park to Chinatown in Manhattan.

I miss Sunset Park Chinatown.

We have run our three errands and are back home. Places were empty - which was why I wanted to go early - and I got the 2 things I wanted. Now on to cleaning and getting loads down to the basement.

Well I was only wanting things from one store and really only 2 things there - Christmas light organizer and ornament storage boxes.

Not enough money to do much more.

My goal by the first of the year is to get this place ready to be painted. That means as much as possible in downstairs storage, sold or given away, so that each room's stuff can be pulled easily into the middle of the rooms and covered with drop clothes.
