But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Candies come in passionate fruit flavors, and every box contains special dazzled hearts that shimmer in the sun, just like Edward Cullen himself.

They're not very shimmery, IIRC. I even made sure to look at some of the "special dazzled hearts" in their native setting of Forks, WA when I went on the Sparkly Road Trip of Doom, but no sparkle.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Well, I'm old, so the averages are on my side that people I grew up with are doing okay in their careers. He was just a high school guy back then! We called ourselves the Mick and the Spic. He always liked politics and journalism. When he ran for student council my BFF and ran his campaign, and his slogan was "9 out of 10 people prefer Colombian" which we thought was the height of sophistication back int the '70s.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Speaking of that vampire movie - Jillie, have you seen this?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Well, I'm old, so the averages are on my side that people I grew up with are doing okay in their careers.

I'm pretty sure it's not just your age. My grandmother is OLD, and dated a LOT, and the best I've heard of her former beaux is one who was a doctor.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm old and I have no famous former beaux. I knew a few people in college who became famous (and, in at least one case, infamous), but there was no dating.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My mother, who I swear did very little dating, busts out with random shit like Gil Scott Heron's drummer. And she offered me quite the hookups that I turned down, idiot that I was. John freaking Barnes. I think I did okay on my own, although dating is a strong term for it.

Our wings are not tired.

There were two candidates for my father (well more than two, but I won't bore you with that) and one of them was John Phillip Law.

I need help: I am sick of saying "bio mom" because "mom" is part of that, and it's not correct. What do I call her? Carrier? Ova-donor? What?
