Ooh, our neighbors just invited us to come over and roast marshmallows in their chiminea and drink boozy cocoa. I LOVE my neighborhood.

I'm kind of surprised that Simon does all the meows. He's good enough to get my cat's attention.
Grrr.
I took my car to the dealership this morning for an oil change. The car dealership just called, and they suddenly remembered that they have to do some recall work, so they will need to keep my car overnight.
I guess I'm glad the work is going to get done, but now I'm kind of stuck in the middle of Palo Alto, with no way to get home.
It is a little unfortunate that his web address (www.simonscat.com) can be read as Simon scat. But he is a good meower, and he knows cats! I was surprised he is British.
Also Hi Allyson! and Allyson can get a toddler sized astronaut suit???
Allyson has the space hookups.
My dealership will drop me off at a fair range of places, but will not pick up, so I have to rent a car for a weekday oil change anyway. Really bumps up the cost.
Mine works basically the same way, so I was planning on taking a bus back to the dealership, but that doesn't work when there is no car to pick up.
They just called back and said they will give me a loaner, so now we are negotiating how to get it to me or me to it.
I am guessing I won't be staying at work until closing time, either way.
I was planning on taking a bus back to the dealership
Yeah, I don't work anywhere that civilised anymore. Those were the days. I'm glad they're giving you a loaner--they frelled you here.
On the upside, I'll get to leave early!
Maybe.
I have to save my leaving early hours to pick my sister up from the airport Wednesday in a timely fashion. And I still have to tidy and clean. And replace my shredder. I burnt out the engine with my last flurry of shredding. I didn't realise that it had a per day max on it. Oops. I have a lot of electronics piling up to toss. I've been assuming it's not okay to just dump a busted printer/DVD player/computer/shredder--am I being over cautious?
No, you should look for a place that does electronics recycling.
