Thanks Kat for sharing the movies of Grace dancing. It actually made me tear up a little. She's come so far and tackled so much in her short lifetime. Amazing.
The kids have gone to town decorating the tree. Franny drew a note to Santa that's pretty priceless. I need to take a pic and upload it.
Right now I've got a massage, a handful of mani-pedis and two dozen these to use up. Had a very nice evening at a sake bar recently that was largely funded through a Groupon.
Ooh, Paget. She's lovely. Perhaps not her best outfit, though.
Just got word that my cousin with cancer isn't expected to last the year. Sadness. Her mother will have outlived a husband and two out of three kids, nit right.
The house smells like coffee. I have a huge pot of sweet goop simmering to make Kahlua. It needs to sit for 12 hours after it cooks for a couple hours. I may have to sample it for breakfast.
The Grace movies were precious. So very sweet.
That's so sad, ita.
I'm not packing tonight. I have the clothes set out, but...nah. I'll be getting up early, there'll be time.
That is so sad, ita. Fuck cancer
Ooh, Paget. She's lovely. Perhaps not her best outfit, though.
I was more focused on the thing in her hand.
I'm sorry, ita. Peace and strength to your cousin and family.
That's very not right, ita.
Laura, you're making Kahlua?
I just bought my parents a llama and a goat. I feel very lame about my gift skills this year, but this is one I'm happy to give and frankly, would love it if it became a thing in my family. It will for me. Hell, I adopted bats for Mother & Father's days....
I'm sorry, ita. How awful for your cousin and her daughter.
Laura, how do you make Kahlua (if you don't mind sharing)?
