Have people had good luck booking hotels on Priceline?
I've done very well with it in both Chicago and LA.

I loved it! And I keep mulling over the details, like how the Prep teams get home.
I was watching the credits and saw a mention of the Burbank Airport Control Tower.
I've had great luck with Priceline for hotels and car rentals.
I always start low in price and high in stars and make sure I have time to play with it. You have to wait a certain amount of time between attempts unless you are willing to drop your stars or change locations.
There aren't any horror stories, P-C, because you can control how many stars you want and the location. You can do a very tight location where you know there are a lot of decent, big business hotels and just go fishing for price.
The last time I got a 4 star hotel for $100, I was pissed, because I would have taken fewer stars for less money!
Is Aims around? I need some smiting.
Suzi, ugh. I'm sorry.
From way back, where I am, we call it OOF, and I set my OOF mail, but never my voice mail, which I have not configured, and which we only use if a: IM is down; b: mail is down; and c: the other person is not physically at their computer when you walk by to tell them what you had to tell them.
Hell, some people at work don't even get to have physical phones. They have, like, headset things and can call via Communicator if they HAVE to make a call.
I have -- it's always a chain hotel, so always decent, and cheap. If you don't care where you stay so much, I definitely recommend it.
Oh, good! I didn't know whether it stuck to chain hotels or also included weird skeevy places. Not that chain hotels can't be weird and skeevy.

Yeah, it said that, but it let me change prices on the same stars a couple times, so...maybe it likes me. In any case, I saw that I could find a two-star place for just as much as a one-star place! So that was neat.

Awesome. Thanks for the help, guys. That might be the easiest way to get a cheap motel in Tucson.
