Interesting how he thinks a half-assed health care reform would trump Mary's submission to the will of God. I don't have that much confidence in the latest version of the health care bill. Or even the one we were promised before the election.

I keep seeing this bumper sticker around here that says virtually the same thing, like "If Mary were Pro-Choice, there wouldn't be a Christmas." (Which, don't even get me started on how that's incorrect.) I saw it and looked at Joe and said, "Well, good thing she was pro-rape-by-a-diety, too."

Notice that in his [Chuck's] article he says 2/3 of Americans support abortions being legal.
Also, he says that earmarks made up a terrifying 0.39% of the spending bill. Of course my opinion skews that since I don't think there is anything intrinsically bad about earmarks. I consider it part of my representative's job. My congress person has received earmarks for terrible things like infrastructure and a battered woman's shelter. Wasteful spending is bad but earmarks don't always == wasteful spending.
