This isn't a come-on. I'm in a very serious relationship with a landscape architect.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Genius! I need a picture. We could do Julianna as Yakko and Jilli as Dot.

That would be so awesome. I think I have a picture somewhere of my costume.

I have a 401k I need to rollover or do something with or figure out how to access ...from a job I left over two years ago.

I now feel like less of a slacker! I got laid off from my previous job about a year and a half ago.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

OMG. I'm totally not a pet person, but what makes you actually want to hurt an animal?

But in terms of the differences pronouncing*, it's key to note the split between aluminum/aluminium

But I never say aluminum. So "it" is never spelt "aluminum" to me. I mean "aluminium" every time.

I think I caught a co-worker scoping my leather-clad ass before a meeting today. Perils of being caught bent over in front of the water cooler. And then I got a hell of a snicker when I used the word "allayed". I think someone's mind was not really on the meeting.

re: cats: has anyone tried the calming pheromone diffuser thing with their cats? We're thinking of trying it out and wanted some reviews.

I used Feliway when introducing the newly adopted kittens to the resident cats since Murphy kept attacking Buffy and seemed very stressed. I think it helped. Murphy seemed much less anxious over the new intruders in his territory. And they now get along . . . mostly.

I unplugged it for awhile but have just plugged it back in to see if it helps discourage Buffy from climbing my Christmas tree by encouraging her to relax. Probably not likely to help with that since she is just being a rambunctious kitten, but I can hope, right?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I've used the feliway when I have to put the cats in carriers, and I think it helped.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

The yankee gift swap with my office party of 21 people took 45 min. Not horrible, but pretty lame actually. I swear we average over an hour in my family with like 10 people.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm doing a Yankee Swap thing for the first time this year with Laga's purportedly awesome family. Let's hope someone likes my gift!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Well, I finally got myself registered for MLS class in January! I just have to mail in a few forms, track down my immunization records from my doctor and mail that in, and send in my check after I get the money.

Intro to Library Science, Tuesday evenings, 6-9 pm, from mid January to first week of May--I'm so excited!!!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Yay, Kathy! I know you've been wanting to do this -- so excited that you're starting!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Christmas morning gift-unwrapping in my family (of four) usually takes about five hours. We play a lot.
