Mal: Gotta say, doctor, your talent for alienatin' folk is near miraculous. Simon: Yes, I'm very proud.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Well, I finally got myself registered for MLS class in January! I just have to mail in a few forms, track down my immunization records from my doctor and mail that in, and send in my check after I get the money.

Intro to Library Science, Tuesday evenings, 6-9 pm, from mid January to first week of May--I'm so excited!!!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Yay, Kathy! I know you've been wanting to do this -- so excited that you're starting!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Christmas morning gift-unwrapping in my family (of four) usually takes about five hours. We play a lot.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yay, Kathy! That's so exciting.

Quick reality check - how crazy would it be to have DH bring home a rescue kitten from NOLA next week? My friends who do rescue all the time have it, we are not its only chance for a home, but . . . I think I want it.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Yay Kathy!

-t, Well, we are crazy cat ladies over here, so I'd say DO IT!

Glad you're home and feeling alright, Burrell.

Thanks, GC, that may be just the enabling encouragement I need.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Just as a quick double check--punching people just because you want to is still wrong, right?

hip deep in pie

My cats have a special sense on knowing when I need to get up, and jump up about 30 seconds before that.

I never knew dreamt, spelt, etc. weren't universally cromunlent words until now.

Canadian debit cards are on a per transaction basis. But they are also controlled by the banks and not CC companies. I think the CC companies are supposed to hit our market soon. Canada is one of the biggest users of deit cards in the world.

Our wings are not tired.

Who the hell is Piers Morgan?

Once upon a time he was a huge publishing guy in the UK and he wrote a scathing tell-all afterwards. He follows me on Twitter.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I did get on the debit card bandwagon in Montreal pre-1993 and then get off it for a while when I moved to Detroit.
