Always Anti-fascist!

Definitely, Kat. Although there were at least 2 very real moments in the Breakfast Club "The kind of friends I'd have wouldn't mind." And Brian's thing about feeling like a failure cause of shop. As I've gotten older, I appreciate Carl the janitor more, too. Carl's kinda deep, but the kids don't see it cause his job is so embarrassing.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just heard from my mom about my aunt I mentioned here Perkins "Natter 64: Yes, we still need you" Aug 4, 2009 6:30:41 pm PDT , and they were able to go back to their house earlier today!

The town is still on alert, but they got a break with the wind, so the firefighters were able to get some control over the situation.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh boy do those cookies sound good, Kat. I will definitely try them soon.

I'm glad to hear about your aunt, Perkins. scary

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

And now, a motivational message from our kitteh life coach.

“Not dead yet!”

That's great about your aunt, Perkins.

Carl's kinda deep, but the kids don't see it cause his job is so embarrassing.

I saw Carl as representing each of them. He could have been the jock or the criminal or the nerd or the outcast or the prince when he was in high school. We don't need to know which one as viewers because his position is that he understands all of them and he understands how little it's all gonna matter by the time those kids are his age. Any one of them could just as easily become a CEO as a janitor.

Our wings are not tired.

Good to hear things are better for your aunt, Perkins.

RIP, John Hughes. I think my Bobby has watched The Breakfast Club 20 times. Since he is just starting HD this month I wonder how it colors his expectations.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

This is going to be a weird day. I had to wrap up and submit a big project at 6 this morning, so now it's 7:30 and feels like the end of the day, not the beginning. This is not helping me get ready and out the door to work.

hip deep in pie

Good god, if you were up at six doing work, at least you should be able to go into the office late.
