Carl's kinda deep, but the kids don't see it cause his job is so embarrassing.
I saw Carl as representing each of them. He could have been the jock or the criminal or the nerd or the outcast or the prince when he was in high school. We don't need to know which one as viewers because his position is that he understands all of them and he understands how little it's all gonna matter by the time those kids are his age. Any one of them could just as easily become a CEO as a janitor.

20 times. Since he is just starting HD this month I wonder how it colors his expectations.
This is going to be a weird day. I had to wrap up and submit a big project at 6 this morning, so now it's 7:30 and feels like the end of the day, not the beginning. This is not helping me get ready and out the door to work.
Good god, if you were up at six doing work, at least you should be able to go into the office late.

Today is our last summer Friday where we get to go home at noon. Woe!
Fridays should really not start wtih 2 hours worth of meetings, and 2 "why did you do this" emails.
They really should not.

do we buy fluevogs half a size bigger or smaller? I opted out of last sale and really the way money is racing out of my bank acct, I probably should avoid this one too, but I kinda wanna buy something new for fall.
