Banks in Canada have had a successful a pay-by-email system in place for a while. It's easy to set up in Canada, because there are only a few banks there.
I did not think about this.
Around here, people still use 'em, but it's true, I haven't ordered new ones in ages.

It's true mostly I only use checks for my landlord, and the last few times friends owed me money they paid by paypal! But still!
