Nah, but thanks -- I met her in person last week, so I think we have a good rapport. I just don't want to do anything obviously wrong!

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
that's the deal with headhunters -- they want everyone to look as good as they can, but the best ones will try and find a good fit. They want both the co and you to work with them again.

ION, I am going to tattoo "Set nocount on" on my forehead. And then put a mirror on my desk to I can read it while working. I'd have to have the text backwards so I could read it in a mirror, like "Ambulance" on the front of an ambulance.
Have you tried a post-it note?
Thanks, y'all.

Yeah, what beth said. I know KBD got commissions on his placements, and I would assume that's common practice.
OMG, I am watching a CBC holiday special. Scott Thompson is one of the guests and he is killing me! He's talking about being on exchnage and eating dog for Xmas. I'm sure it's probably a you have to be there moment.
Yay! Just submitted grades for the semester. I am done.
Yay!!!!
The headhunters I dealt with all treated me like I'd never been on an interview before, and they all overprepared me, but I would definitely prefer that to the alternative. I certainly didn't have any questions left over to ask them about the interview.
They did expect me to memorise every little nuance about the interview to report back to them, which I sucked at.
Just got complimented again by the boss. Apparently feedback on me from the user team I work with continues to be positive. No merit increases or bonuses for me, but it all helps with the chances of me getting picked up when my contract expires, so it's good stuff.
They are doing carols again in the nearby conference room. Seems they might be rehearsing in there until Wednesday. Oyveh.
<3 Scott Thompson. More than Eric Bana, even.
House~ma for Plei and health ~ma for Burrell.
I am a little disappointed that I did not get picked for Jury duty, but I did get to come home and take a nap and breathe menthol and such for my poor sinuses. They are o dry, and they feel like they are screaming inside my head.
The things that surprised me about jury duty was that the lawyers were sooooo young. Like in their 20's just out of law school young (because it was a really small case). And people kept laughing at things, including the defendant and the defense attorney and the DA. The defense attorny asked us what would make us think a car was stolen (she was thinking signs of forced entry) and a little old man piped up "Because it wasn't where I left it!"
