Interesting, it looks like TARP losses may only end up being $42 billion (only in government spending terms could that be called only).
TARP may not be popular or ideal, but it seems to have worked. I find it humorous that this success of the Bush administration is one of the things that Bush now says he regrets.
Where are you sending flowers to, Dana? If it's Eastern Washington, my brother might be able to hook you up.
No, it's elderly relatives in a couple of different places. There's just not a lot of stuff you can buy for 95-year old women, you know?
Happy Birthday, Typo Boy.
Marketing question: If I say I have more than 30 years of experience, do you think "Wow, she's qualified" or "Wow, she's old"?
Huh, the house passed a financial reform bill and I didn't even know about it. I feel out of touch. I wonder if it's me or if it just isn't much press. Every Republican voted against it, naturally.

Yes I do! Which reminds me I should order flowers for my grandmother. I now figure I've done it long enough that it's a tradition....

It would depend. For a senior enough position, it would be a plus, but I do think it's a little iffy -- if the work is stuff that's changed a lot with technology or anything, especially. I'd think.
Well, _I_ think qualified, but I think other people would think "old" (not that you are, they would just think that). I would say something like 15+ years. Which is also true, they just don't start doing the math immediately.
