To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. It's a ritual sacrifice, with pie.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No problem, Kat.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Is there any decent place to order flowers online?

I really like Proflowers. Everything I've gotten from them has been pretty, and on time. Not cheap overall, but they have some good deals.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I've always had good luck with ProFlowers, Dana.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Where are you sending flowers to, Dana? If it's Eastern Washington, my brother might be able to hook you up.

Our wings are not tired.

I don't know who Kristin and NoiseDesign used for flowers they sent to me this year (when I graduated), but they were GORGEOUS. And boyfriend just used FTD to send me date-a-versary flowers and they were gorgeous too but I had to put them together (they came with the vase, and it was fun to put them together, but it might be difficult without a sink nearby is all).

BTW, boyfriend calls it an anniversary but I told him that word is only for married people and that he hasn't "earned" that...

ita, I think if you didn't post here for more than a day or two, and you hadn't mentioned going to the ER, we'd all be pretty worried...

Anniversary is a loaded word, even when it's strictly evenly applicable.

My sister and I had a discussion about engagement rings when we were hanging at LAX last week and she's as unlikely to wear one as I am, or a wedding ring for a man who doesn't wear his own. Sometimes we're very related. But I eat chocolate. That's how you tell us apart. And I wear pink. I guess I'm the girl. With the bullets.

But meara, when does one escalate off the interweb? I kmow my mother will call Allyson and make something happen if she noticed anything. But she onlypays attention every couple weeks.
