Anniversary is a loaded word, even when it's strictly evenly applicable.
My sister and I had a discussion about engagement rings when we were hanging at LAX last week and she's as unlikely to wear one as I am, or a wedding ring for a man who doesn't wear his own. Sometimes we're very related. But I eat chocolate. That's how you tell us apart. And I wear pink. I guess I'm the girl. With the bullets.
But meara, when does one escalate off the interweb? I kmow my mother will call Allyson and make something happen if she noticed anything. But she onlypays attention every couple weeks.
I caught up! (Yes, it's only a hundred or so posts, but still! D'you know how long it's been since I actually *read* *each* *post*, not just skimmed or skipped entirely? It's a Hanukkah miracle!)
And the conversation was so much fun - I'd totally be a false alibi for Jesse (um, I think Israel has extradite (is that the word I'm looking for?) agreements with the USA, so I won't be able to really make a safe haven from the law, but still), and Noah *and* Grace having a good walk together with their wonderful grownups must have been a great time and yay JenP being home!
date-a-versary
Other than ita's very true answer, date-a-versary is also a really fun word to say!
[Edit: apparently, this post was brought to you by the "!" key, and 2*4=8]
Hi Nilly! Happy Chanukah!
There was something else I wanted to say. But now I can't remember. I think it's time for bed.
Night, Hil! Happy Hanukkah!
I think Israel has extradite (is that the word I'm looking for?) agreements with the USA
extradition is the noun, extradite is the verb. But, many countries won't extradite if the US is going to ask for the death penalty for the crime. Something to keep in mind.
Somebody with actual knowledge to the rescue! Thanks, Vortex!
So, um, Jesse can only seek refuge here for the really serious stuff she's only been researching for her "novel", right? I'll only be able to help with the really big stuff? For anything else, there's also Dana, so she's covered.
[Edit: I told you guys about that one question in the USA-visa application form, inquiring whether I've ever committed genocide, right?]
Lucky Kat and family. I love seeing the lights at Griffith Park. We are going to try to go next week. I doubt I'll be up for much walking by then, but I figure we can wait and see and if worse comes to worse, I'll wait for the others.
Weekend has been busy, but good.
Is there any decent place to order flowers online? All of the big sites seem to have tons of negative reviews. Or should I just suck it up and try to order locally?
I've had consistently good-quality, long-lasting flowers from Teleflora.
