How does this tie into androgen insensitivity? In reading about the S. African runner, they mentioned another athlete who was disqualified and reinstated--genetically she tested male, but when she could prove she was insensitive to androgen, she got back her medals. I doubt she got back her boyfriend, though.
I wonder if some day they will divide sports up by pure size, not gender at all. I mean, the more we know, the more fuzzy situations there seem to be.

This. I may not agree with their lifestyle choices, but they seem happy with their life and don't seem to be judgey of people who don't choose that kind of life.

Yep. But I can see a lot of guys shying away from dealing with the whole thing. Knowing your girlfriend is XY despite having lady parts must be something to wrap your head around.
