What's overproof?
Over 150 proof--over 75% alcohol. And she sent me some drinking stuff as well as the mixing stuff.
Oh. So like sugar-moonshine?
(i've had shine. DON'T.)
Any rum cream, ita?
Gee I want to try rum cream.
That reminds me - my parents had to replace their fridge recently, so they cleaned out the freezer. Tucked in the back was some cranberry liqueur mom made in the early 80s and some moonshine (rotgut swill, as they called it at the time) that my brother and his friends made out of lemons and who knows what else in the late 80s. Mom said the 'shine was smoother than many vodkas she's tried. Keeping it frozen for 20 years apparently helped, because from what I remember when it was fresh, not smooth.
Rum cream I still have. I only ran out of the hard stuff. I do do shots of the overproof recreationally, but many people don't like it. I can't drink OJ, but I can chug liquor.
My sister had me bring her dinner. Pescatarian or pork, no tuna. So I bought her a veggie sandwich, tomato mozzarella salad, and macaroni cheese. Guess who doesn't like salad or eat much dairy? Hmmph. I never think of ham as pork, she doesn't eat soy, so cheese! She has to stop watching TV or there'll be no food left for her to eat.
Man, overproof rum was always our guest gift to my Aunts from the Duty Free. Makes me nostalgic.
I think I love ita's mom.
Hey, that's my cousin playing bass on Conan! What an unfortunate haircut.

It was always the guest gift from my Great Aunt from the Duty Free. It wasn't so exciting to me, I don't like rum. But my dad was pretty psyched.
