Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Crap -- tonight's the first choir rehersal for Christmas, and I never got the music from my parents. I guess I'll fake it tonight and try to catch up later. Luckily, most of the people there should know the stuff already.... Man, I hope I can still sing!

Librarian Warlord

Thanks for the Amby post, Jessica - moving K to the crib has just been moved up to tonight.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I have no idea where Baby #2 is going to sleep now. I guess I'll have to buy a co-sleeper.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Okay, the NIU weather guy says that December is going to be essentially like it has been yesterday and today but January and February are going to be warmer than usual.

Seriously?!? Because it is ONE degree today people, ONE. Not on, December.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hey, does anyone know how Lands End's men's clothing runs size wise, especially in T-shirts?

Always Anti-fascist!

Bonnie Hunt is Doug Ellin's(Entourage) college friend? Well, they go back a ways and she got him his first TV-writing credit. I just thought that was interesting.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

REI's sizing is pretty standard, but it's also the sizing I have most internalized so it's what I judge other sizes by, so perhaps my judgment is not accurate. But it seems to correlate with JCPenney and so forth.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Because it is ONE degree today people, ONE. Not on, December.

I am so effing cold. My room is freezing! Well, not really, but it is 65 in here which is warmer than 1, but still cold for inside.

Last night, I decided to stop and get gas so I'd have a full tank for the 1 degree day today. At 8:15 last night, it was 15 degrees but the wind was whipping around and it was so so very cold. And my gas cover was frozen shut, so there I am at the gas station in -400 degree wind chill chiseling the ice off my gass cover with a screwdriver. Funsies, I tell ya.
